I’m Elza Loginova, a Ukrainian photographer based in Freiburg.

I’ve been photographing classical music since 2015. I learned photography the usual way: online courses, open resources, and lots of practice. From 2019 to 2020, I worked at The Gate Agency in Kyiv as a business photographer and studio administrator. That’s where I realized I wanted to focus on creative work — especially music.

Since then, I’ve worked with musicians, ensembles, and festivals such as Kyiv Contemporary Music Days, Ensemble Recherche, Ensemble Aventure, Kyiv Symphony Orchestra, Hochschule für Musik Freiburg, among others.

​

I shoot portraits, concerts, and I love making posters. I’m also an opera and contemporary music singer, so I know this world from the inside — rehearsals, nerves, backstage chaos included.

By now, I have an exhibition "Heimat auf Zeit" in the Musikhochschule Freiburg.
